Diversity – Amanda has always been driven by a desire to experience all life has to offer. Born with an adventure seeking nature her actions have built a repertoire that enables her to relate to any audience. From driving cattle across deserts, playing violin with the symphony, to lobbying in state for agricultural organizations she has met many audiences. Traveling the country as Miss Rodeo Idaho in 2003 also lead her to numerous stages where she mastered the skill to promote the programs and businesses that were the primary focus of each event, as well educate the audience. Teaching as a University of Idaho Extension Agent in youth development allowed Amanda to train both adult and youth audiences and guide them to action and project completion. Amanda’s cultural diversity has allowed her to speak both on her Western and Southern heritage as well has her Japanese American heritage, including the success of the Japanese in Idaho during WWII and the Japanese internment, which while tragic, is the one reason her grandparents would ever meet.
REASON 2
Spirit – It’s not the question if the glass is ½ full or ½ empty, but the awareness that if we all come together the glass will overflow with an abundance of ideas, options and new perceptions that drives Amanda to unite her audience in action toward their common goal. It’s her cowgirl spirit that drives her to inspire each audience member to truly recognize the unique value they have to offer.

Awareness – The wherewithal to read a room and adjust the timing, humor and energy is essential to keep the connection and attention of your audience. Were you aware that only 7% of communication is the words coming out of your mouth? 93% of communication is nonverbal. So, while the poetry of words is indeed important, it’s a special skill to master to be aware of what your audience isn’t saying and adapt to their needs in the moment, on the stage. Amanda has 20 years professional experience and will provide an essential relook at your audience and what they weren’t saying, once your event has concluded.
